Here is another one of my favourite weddings from last year (I’m a slow blogger, okay?). Erin and Chris’s wedding wasn’t only beautiful to shoot, but THEY were beautiful, funny and wonderful to work with, quite simply because they are two of the happiest, most fun-loving people I’ve met. I think you’ll be able to tell from these pictures that these two enjoy a laugh. They even let me fulfill my lifelong wedding photography dream of photographing portraits in a supermarket. Thank you Erin and Chris!
Now here all the details that I can remember: Erin wore a Lisa Ho dress and her bridesbabe wore Carla Zampatti. I’ve been seeing a lot of stunning Carla Zampatti dresses at weddings (on brides and bridesmaids), so there’s my hot tip for brides on the lookout right now for an elegant, cool dress. (If you’re after a Lisa Ho number like Erin’s you might have to search harder as I think she’s shut up shop).
Cecilia Fox made the beautiful floral creations. I’m always excited when I hear she’s doing one of my weddings and on this day she didn’t disappoint! The (loose) theme was “winter going into spring” and she did a beautiful job of injecting colour into an August day.
We can’t forget the groom’s shoes! They are from Loake Shoemakers (fancy!).
Enjoy this fun, colourful wedding!
