Amy and Michael

What is it with sporty people? They’re so happy all the time. Amy and Michael are two mega-sporty, happy people so their wedding day was one big happy, beautiful day.

I wasn’t planning on shooting any weddings when Amy asked me to, but I am so glad I said yes. I had a ball shooting Amy and Jon’s wedding the month before and I knew I was ready to get back to work after having my baby Phoebe. The ceremony was held on the most glorious Autumn day in St. Vincent’s Gardens, Albert Park, then the party moved over to the newly refurbished Stokehouse in St Kilda. It’s a fantastic venue, I can’t stop raving about it to anyone who’ll listen, and the food was so good I just had to go into the kitchen to take some snaps! Amy’s make up was done by Rebecca Brown, who I have worked a lot with doing beauty and fashion shoots. She’s fab and I highly recommend her. Hair was done at my favourite Melbourne salon, Shibui, and her dress was by the legendary Toni Maticevski.
